David’s captivating designs are underpinned by his fastidious design research and his understanding of consumer insights. His interdisciplinary approach to art & design, visual language and interaction allows him to create these unique brand experiences.
Winner of the Singapore Young Designer Award in 1997 & 1998, David is the inaugural recipient of the prestigious DesignSingapore scholarship, allowing him to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (Graphic Design) at the Central Saint Martins—University of the Arts London. He then spent two years as art editor at The Future Laboratory, Europe’s leading trend forecasting company, and was also the art editor for Viewpoint Magazine. David went on to graduate top of his class with a Master of Arts (Distinction) in Graphic Design from London College of Communications—University of the Arts London, and has been teaching branding and communications since.
David’s spends his free-time working with theatrical practitioners & playwrights to design for theatre, translating words to visuals and creating immersive experiences for the audience.
